The people behind free community events at the Dana Adobe need help. The nonprofit Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos are looking to borrow several items for upcoming events, including golf carts for Heritage Day, June 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last year, more than 700 people attended Heritage Day, and this year, even more are expected. Golf carts transport visitors from the parking area to the event.
The group also needs a screen and projector for the Saturday Talks Series, and tables, chairs, canopies, porcelain, burlap sacks, and bolts of fabric for several upcoming events.
