Orcutt Community Theatre’s production of Annie opens at Klein Dance Arts Studio on Friday, Nov. 29, at 7 p.m. This classic Tony Award-winning musical is based on the popular Great Depression-era comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, by Harold Gray. The setting is New York City during the 1930s, and the plot follows an orphan as she’s temporarily adopted by billionaire Oliver Warbucks, one of the richest men in the world.
The show will run through Sunday, Dec. 22, with performances every Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and every Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Tickets range from $8 to $15 and are available in advance at my805tix.com.
