The Lompoc Museum and La Purisima Mission docents are holding the second collaborative Ethnic Arts Marketplace in downtown Lompoc on Friday, Nov. 9, from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Stone Pine Hall, 210 South H St. in Lompoc. The public is invited to shop for unique gifts from around the world in an exotic bazaar atmosphere while supporting two local cultural institutions.
Items include dolls, jewelry, clothing, wall hangings, pottery, wood carvings, tribal masks, purses, belts, textiles, baskets, puppets, nesting dolls, musical instruments, sculptures, American Indian art, ethnic Christmas ornaments, and much more. Items come from countries throughout Central and South America, Africa, and Asia, as well as from ethnic groups within Europe and Native American Indian tribes. All items in the bazaar have their own unique story.
