Our founders wrote in the Preamble of the Constitution “in order to form a more perfect union.” What did the mean by that? Did they mean a union with more control, more fear, more manipulation, more war, more dropouts, more poverty, more pollution, more genetically modified food, more global warming, more drug use, more corporate control, more invasion of privacy? Or did they mean a country with more freedom, more equality, more education, more caring for your neighbor, your community, your country, and your world?
The path to a more perfect union is not a path of power and greed, but a path of goodness and kindness. Let us pick the most loving path, and stay out of fear.
