My wife and I are proud parents of two wonderful Orcutt elementary school district students. We, like many parents, volunteer in the classroom, participate in school events, and work collaboratively with the many wonderful teachers and principals at the various district schools. We know firsthand what our children and teachers need most to improve their overall educational experience.
Â
Increasing classroom size and not listening to the needs of teachers and parents is the wrong approach of the current board. Join us and many other Orcutt district parents in voting for a more balanced perspective on the Orcutt School Board by voting for Orcutt parent Jeff Guiltinan for OUSD School Board. Unlike the incumbents running for re-election, Jeff and his wife have two wonderful kids who attend a district school. Jeff understands the needs of teachers and students, and will bring a parent’s voice to the board.
Â
He has served on the PTA, volunteers his time coaching youth sports, served on the board of Cub Scouts Pack 93, and is a successful business owner in financial planning. Jeff will listen to parents and teachers, help bring classroom size down, and will work to end the monthly stipend and the generous benefits package that is given to board members. That savings alone could help restore funding for physical education programs for our kids! Vote Jeff Guiltinan for Orcutt Board trustee!
