Hands for Others (H4O), a Santa Barbara-based nonprofit, celebrated success at its Run4Water 5K event Feb. 8. According to a press release, the organization raised $4,000 with all proceeds going toward building water filtration systems in Honduras.

Founded by a group of local teenagers in 2008, H4O has helped bring water to approximately 1,500 people in 11 different countries.
