I never read the column, The Benchwarmer, but I happened to in the Sept. 18 edition of the Sun. I sure am glad I did. It was ā€œThe Benchwarmer’s hopes for the 2013 NFL Season.ā€ I’m a tremendous Green Bay Packers fan. And after reading most of the hilarious and insightful article, she wrote about her hopes for the Packers going to the playoffs (which of course they will and will win the Super Bowl). And even mentioned my favorite player: Clay Matthews. Oh yeah, earlier in the article, she mentioned her hatred of the 49ers. Bingo! Right again.

However, the Benchwarmer is only near perfect: She did misspell Colin Kaepernick’s last name, leaving out the ā€œeā€ after the ā€œa.ā€ I only know this, ’cause I and my teammate Edda just won this year’s Central Coast Spelling Bee.
