People who made a New Year’s resolution to get more involved in politics, or are looking to get politically informed, can find what they need through a handful of local organizations.
The Santa Maria Valley Republican Club meets the third Monday of every month at 6 p.m. at Ambrosia Restaurant, 122 E. Boone St., in Santa Maria.
The Lompoc Valley Republican Club meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m. at the White Oak Restaurant and Hotel in Lompoc.
The Santa Maria Valley Democratic Club meets the third Thursday of the month at IHOP Restaurant, 202 S. Nicholson Ave., in Santa Maria. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and an optional dinner begins at 6 p.m.
