On March 14, more than 400 student musicians will gather in the Santa Maria High School gymnasium for Bandarama!. The annual event features music played by bands from every junior high and high school in Santa Maria, Orcutt, and Guadalupe, as well as the Allan Hancock College band.
Each band will perform one piece, and then they’ll all come together as one large band to play four numbers. The pieces played by the combined student bands will be the Raiders of the Lost Ark theme, Clarinet Capers, Dark Adventure, and Stars and Stripes Forever. The performance begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free.
