Starting this month, faculty members at St. Joseph High School will integrate Apple iPad2s in their curriculums to help improve student learning, the school recently announced in a press release.

Thanks to some generous donations from the public, administrators and teachers will spend the next 14 months figuring out how to use iPads in the classroom. After that, the goal of school officials is to establish a one-to-one iPad program for students, most likely in fall 2013.

ā€œWe’re excited. We believe that this is the way that education is going to go in the future, especially with textbooks,ā€ Principal Joseph Myers said. ā€œIf you look at what’s happened with music and regular books, it’s easy to see that the same thing will happen with education.ā€
