Are you a Club 24 member? Not anymore. In-Shape Health Clubs has bought the Club 24 gym at 1318 S. Broadway in Santa Maria and will be converting it into an In-Shape gym instead.

“We’re thrilled to come to Santa Maria and welcome this great club to the In-Shape family,” In-shape CEO Paul Rothbard said in a press release. “We’ve been in business for 27 years and know what it takes to provide a superior health club experience. We’ve got plans to expand and upgrade the facility, including adding an indoor pool, all with the goal of making this the best club in the area!”

According to a release from the company, within a few months gym members will also see a new women’s workout area, with cardio and weight training equipment at the In-Shape location. The company also wants to make the gym more kid friendly.

The new club is the company’s 30th and its second in the region. In-Shape is also building a gym in Lompoc, and members can upgrade their gym membership for access to both gyms.
