The Santa Maria Public Library invites the public to a free workshop on how to download eBooks and audiobooks to computers or handheld portable devices. Participants are encouraged to bring their eReader devices.
The workshop will be offered at the Santa Maria Public Library at 421 S. McClelland, in Shepard Hall, on Aug. 21, 4 to 5 p.m.; Aug. 23, 11 a.m. to noon; Aug. 28, 4 to 5 p.m.; and Sept. 6, 11 a.m. to noon.
Seats are limited. The Santa Maria Public Library has access to 15,200 electronic audio and eBooks.
The libraryās hours are noon to 8 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays. The library is closed on Sundays.
