The Wildling Museum in Solvang invites the public to an opening reception on July 21 for Nature Imagined, a special exhibition that celebrates nature through the imagination of artists Cheryl Medow, Ellen Jewett, and Hilary Brace.Ā

Inspired by nature, these artists use diverse materials and methods to create environments that engage the imagination. The viewer is invited to look into the details of their artwork and explore the unique weaving of image, texture, and pattern that resembles nature and yet is unlike anything in the natural world.Ā

The reception runs from 3 to 5 p.m. Two of the artists, Cheryl Medow and Hilary Brace, will be at the reception. The exhibit will be on display from July 20 through Jan. 21. The museum is located at 1511-B Mission Drive, Solvang. More info: (805) 688-1082.
