The Wildling Art Museum announced the election of Kathleen Kalp and Judy Stapelmann to its Board of Directors.

Kalp is a senior vice president of Northern Trust and has been the lead portfolio manager for the Northern Trust Large Cap Core Portfolio since 2004. She just completed two terms as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and chaired their investment committee. She’s also a former board member of the Marymount School in Santa Barbara and the Loyola Marymount University MBA Alumni Association.

Stapelmann graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara, earning an M.A. in immunology. Trained as a general biologist, she taught biology and ecology at Ventura College, Glendale College, and Santa Barbara City College. She’s served in many capacities, from clinic work to president of the board. She chaired a $11 million Building Healthy Communities Campaign and continues to serve on their Development Committee. She is currently president of the Board of the Hollister Ranch Cattle Cooperative, was a trustee of the Santa Barbara Foundation for nine years, and is active with the Women’s Fund of Santa Barbara.
