Do you enjoy long walks in the park? Los Flores Ranch Park docents will be leading nature walks on the second Saturday of each month until August.
Hikers will experience the beauty of Los Flores Ranch and learn about the oak trees and other plant life, as well as birds and the many other animals that call the park home. The walks will make use of the parkās beginner and intermediate trails, and start promptly at 10 a.m., running about two hours.
Hikers are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring binoculars and a lunch to enjoy in one of the parkās scenic picnic areas.
The walks are free to city residents. For non-residents, park entry is $3 for adults and $1.50 for seniors; youths 15 and younger get in free.
