Bay Area-based artist and Santa Maria native Cameron Moberg will be one of several street artists competing in the Oxygen network’s new show, Street Art Throwdown, premiering on Feb. 3 at 9 p.m. on Oxygen. Moberg will be one of 10 artists competing with creativity to win a $100,000 grand prize.
Moberg, who goes by the street name Camer1, is a self-taught artist and pastor who paints to give hope. Born with color deficiency in his vision, Moberg uses vivid colors in his creations, as they are the only colors he can see. He hopes to win the competition in order to pay for a home for his wife and two children.
Moberg can be found on Twitter and Instagram under @camer1sf. More information about Street Art Throwdown is available at oxygen.com.
