The Santa Maria Arts Council is getting ready for the 33rd annual Autumn Arts Festival and issuing a call to artists who want to participate in the Fine Arts Show portion of the festival. The Autumn Arts Festival is Oct. 1 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the McClelland Street corridor downtown.

The Fine Arts Show will feature two-dimensional art work, from artists ages 18 and older who reside between Santa Ynez and the Five Cities area. Interested artists must fill out an application by Sept. 23. There will be one cash prize awarded and one People’s Choice ribbon awarded. Artists can enter the show for free, but space is limited.
