Celebrated artist Robbie Kaye will launch her new brand/art project, Treads on Threads, in Los Olivos on Oct. 13. The project includes a line of textiles that use tires and colorful paints to create unique designs. The event on Oct. 13 happens from 4 to 7 p.m. at Honey Paper, where Kaye will launch the line with a talk and demonstration.
Kaye will also paint some original “threads” at Los Olivos Day in the Country on Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visitors can bring their own piece of clothing for inspiration or special offerings. The global launch of Kaye’s new project is online at treadsonthreads.com or robbiekaye.com.
