Woodlands Studios presents The Fishnet Hypothesis, a new dark comedy/thriller written and directed by Los Alamos native Elizabeth Fields, which is currently available to stream on the POV Horror Channel and online at povhorror.com. Fields also stars in the film, which was released on Sept. 19.Ā

The film’s score was composed by prolific musician Harry Manfredini, widely known for his work on Swamp Thing, Deep Star Six, and the Friday the 13th franchise. The film’s plot centers on Miranda (played by Fields), an internet blogger looking to hire a new member of her production team. During her interview with Todd (played by Trevor Bowen), their strange conversation quickly unravels into something very unexpected.Ā

For more info on Fields, an alumna of both St. Joseph High School in Orcutt and Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, and her filmography, visit elizabethfields.net. Visit woodlandstudios.us for more info on the film’s production company.
