The Santa Maria Parks and Recreation Department will present its own version of the popular TV show Survivor June 17 through 21 at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center.
At the overnight event, participants will be grouped into teams and taught basic survival skills. Teens will be required to compete and survive in the natural environment at Los Flores Ranch Park.
Adults will be assigned to lead each team; additional adults will also be present to supervise.
