The recently announced complete roster for Amgen Tour of California boasts 17 professional cycling teams from around the world: Ag2r-La Mondiale, Astana, Bissell Pro Cycling Team, BMC Racing Team, Cervelo Test Team, Colavita/Sutter Home presented by Cooking Light, Fly V Australia presented by Successful Living Foundation Team, Garmin-Chipotle, Jelly Belly Cycling Team, Liquigas, Ouch presented by Maxxis, Quick Step, Rabobank, Rock Racing, Saxo Bank, Team Columbia, and Team Type 1.
“These 17 teams represent the strongest field we have had at the Amgen Tour of California,” Andrew Messick, president of AEG Sports, said in a statement.
The Tour de France-style cycle race starts on Feb. 14, and will come to Solvang for individual time trials on Feb. 20.
