In addition to making the state playoffs for the third year in a row, the Allan Hancock College baseball team was well represented in postseason awards.

Four Hancock players won Gold Gloves, recognizing them as the top defensive players in the Western State Conference: first baseman Jacob Cano, second baseman Austin Nyman, shortstop Dalton Rouleau, and outfielder Chris Rivera. Rouleau won the award for the second year in a row.

Overall, 10 Bulldog players made the All-Western State Conference 2011 team. Nyman was named first team, along with infielder Chris Hernandez and catcher Dylan Young.

Garnering second-team honors were outfielder J.P. Maestas, and pitchers Joe Perez and Jordan Sechler. Codey Schrider, Rouleau, and Cano received honorable mentions.
