Families can take time out from TV and enjoy the great outdoors at the Circle V Ranch’s “Family Camp” from Aug. 17 to Aug. 19.
Campers will stay in air-conditioned log cabins or traditional canvas tents while participating in archery, hiking, swimming, arts and crafts, and more. A private cabin accommodating up to 10 people in a family or group is $650; sharing a cabin with others is $115 per adult, or $75 for children ages 4-15, while children under four are free. A traditional canvas tent, with bunk beds sleeping up to six family members, is $360. Fees include six meals, lodging, all activities and supervised fun. Each cabin and tent has adjacent shower and restroom facilities.
Reservations and payments for the camp are due by Aug. 10.
Founded in 1945 by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Council of Los Angeles, the 30-acre Circle V Ranch Camp is located across from Cachuma Lake in the Santa Ynez Valley.
