So you think you can dance? Prove it at the city of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department’s first ever “Electronic Music Dance” on June 22 from 7 to 11 p.m.

Teens 12 to 18 years old, and in junior high or high school, can dance to the sounds of eight different DJs from the DJ Shop: DJ Shek, DJ TonTay, DJ KillSwitch, Euforia, DJ Skittle, DJ Tazz, DJ Raine, and DJ Salvation. Of course, no electronic music event would be complete without black lights, finger lights, and glow sticks. Admission is $5.

The Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center is at 600 S. McClelland St.

For more information, call the Recreation and Parks Department at 925-0951, Ext. 260.
