It’s the time of the season for swimming, and the Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department will be offering various aquatic programs at the Pioneer Valley High School pool all summer long.
Adult lap swims will be held June 20 to Aug. 13—Mondays through Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and weekdays from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The pool will be open for recreation swims June 20 to Aug. 14 on weekends only from 1 to 4 p.m. Swim lessons begin June 20 as well, with weekday and Saturday swim classes available. Junior lifeguard classes will be offered at the pool, weekdays only, starting June 27.
Pioneer Valley High School is at 675 Panther Dr. in Santa Maria.
