The Nipomo Football League will be holding a series of free youth football clinics from July 25 to 29 at Nipomo Regional Park.

The clinics are open to the public and run from 5 to 7 p.m. each evening at the park’s Cowboys’ Football field at the intersection of Tefft Street and Pomeroy Road.

Late registration for Cowboys’ football and cheerleading is currently open to players ages 8 to 14, and cheerleaders in second through eighth grades. To register, parents will need to bring a report card for the 2010-11 school year, a copy of a birth certificate, and two photos for each participant. The cost is $225 for football and $130 for cheerleading. Each player must be weighed and measured. Team conditioning begins Aug. 1 with the league season starting Sept. 3.

For more information, call player agent Don O’Henley at 235-5419 or league president Shawn Bland at 266-5552.
