The Lompoc Valley Master Chorale, directed by Kathleen Abrams Hacker, will perform a concert titled Around the World in 80 Minutes on May 6 and 7. The program is designed to deliver music from across the globe, including England, France, Germany, Russia, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Russia, Japan, Taiwan, Kenya, and the United States.

The two concerts will also welcome featured performers such as trumpet player Colin Hacker, percussionist Mic Singh, flutist Jenny Diep, and organist Dr. Katya Gotsdiner-McMahan. Master Chorale scholarship winners Kristina Greenwood, violin, and Caity Petterson, vocalist, will join the show as well.

Cost of admission is $15, $10 for students. Performances happen at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 925 North F St., Lompoc. More information is available at lvmasterchorale.org.
