Furious
What’s it rated? TV-MA
When? 2026
Where’s it showing? Hulu

Created by Elizabeth Meriweather (New Girl, No Strings Attached), this new series gives us what she creates best—characters and relationships in which more lies under the surface than on top. Emmy Rossum is Alice, a guarded FBI agent whose past still haunts her. Catherine (Lola Petticrew) is out for blood—particularly that of men who are sexual predators of young girls. While Alice’s sense of duty tells her she must capture Catherine as quickly as possible, the lines blur when it comes to what’s right vs. wrong.

Released over a series of weeks, the first season is now all out—and it will no doubt be binged by many. Complicating things is Alice’s supervisor, Mason Adkins (Alex Morf), whom Alice quickly thwarts by going over his head to the head of the sex crimes division, Nora Washington (Quincy Tyler Bernstine), and is soon under Nora’s lead.

Catherine is cunning and quick, disguising herself and worming her way into situations that give her the opportunity to kill another predator. Soon all hell is breaking loose in every direction. I’m so glad that this series is coming back for a second season, I thoroughly enjoyed the first. (eight 50-to-55-min. episodes)
