Get out the American flags and tea bags, Santa Maria Valley Republicans, Inc., and the Santa Barbara County Republican Central Committee are hosting a 4th of July Tea Party celebrating ā€œOne Nation Under God,ā€ the organizations announced in a press release earlier this month. The party will be held on July 3 from noon to 4 p.m. at Pioneer Park, 1000 W. Foster Road, in Santa Maria. Republican elected officials and local, state, and federal candidates for the November 2010 ballot have been invited. The master of ceremonies will be talk radio personality Andy Caldwell. The program starts at 1 p.m.,
followed by a barbecue from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The cost for the barbecue is $10 for adults, $5 for children older than 6, and free for active duty military and their immediate family members.
