Flying Goat Cellars welcomes local artists to show in their gallery space, and next in line is painter and illustrator Candace McHugh, whose work shows through Nov. 21. An opening reception for the show is Oct. 29 from 3 to 5 p.m.

McHugh’s work focuses on soil, seeds, rocks, and plants, and how they fit into a landscape. She has painted local plant life for the county of Santa Barbara.
