When? 2026
Where’s it showing? Netflix

Mackenzie and Dominic were high school sweethearts. He was a couple of years older, but they were tied at the hip from day one, according to those who knew them. Mackenzie was just finishing up high school, but the two were already living together.

One night after attending a graduation party, Mackenzie, Dominic, and their friend Davion Flannigan piled into her car in the wee hours of the morning. What happens next is brutal to watch. CCTV footage shows the car hurtling into a brick building without hesitation. The car was travelling at more than 100 miles per hour. Only Mackenzie, the driver, survived—but with serious injuries. What seemed like a terrible accident felt unexplained to those who love the two dead men. Sure enough, a murder trial ensues, pointing to Mackenzie’s online presence and the couple’s text threads as evidence of a far darker truth.

Diving into the evidence found within the car, Mackenzie’s past, and testimony from those closest to the victims, this documentary is a full-faced look at what can go wrong within the teenage mind. Why would she do this? It’s unknown, but no matter her guilt or innocence, her life will be behind bars years for to come. (92 min.)
