The Santa Maria Town Center mall is getting into the Christmas spirit as part of its regular “Movies at the Mall” series, showing the animated children’s favorite The Polar Express on Dec. 11.
The movie will show for free near the Red Robin restaurant, with seating beginning at 4 p.m. and the showing starting at 4:30 p.m. sharp. Children 13 and younger will be treated to free hot cocoa and popcorn. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their favorite Christmas pajamas and get into the spirit of giving by bringing a new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots program. Those giving donations will receive extra savings throughout the mall.
The mall will also host a live storytelling of The Polar Express book hourly from 1 to 3 p.m. in the mall’s center court, and at 4 p.m. near Red Robin.
