La Purisima Golf Course and the University of Arizona Central Coast Cats Alumni Club are teaming up on summer golf clinics to raise funds for Santa Barbara County students attending the University of Arizona.
Clinics will be held on July 25 and Aug. 22 beginning at 11:30 a.m. The clinics cost $60 per person and include a round of golf, lunch, and a clinic taught by course teaching director and University of Arizona alumnus Ken Zimet. Proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for students in the Santa Barbara area. Special promotions at local wineries will also be offered.
