It’s time again for the fourth annual Splash and Dash at Allan Hancock College on April 27. Participants can take part in an Aquathon with the option of doing a 5K run and 500-yard swim or a 5K run, 500-yard swim, or two-mile walk.

Organized and run by Hancock recreation students, the Splash and Dash is part of a larger event this year, pairing together local races in an effort to promote healthy lifestyles on the Central Coast.

Participants will be entered to win prizes, including four rounds of golf at Black Lake golf course, a one-month membership to Pismo Athletic Club, or a $200 gift card to Cross Fit Five Cities in Santa Maria.

The event kicks off at 8 a.m. Admission is $25—but it’s free for Hancock students. Register online at active.com.
