The Luis Oasis Senior Center offers a variety of workshops, classes, and crafting sessions throughout each week. Some require materials fees, but most are free to attend. Some classes are strictly for seniors and members, so call ahead before crashing a session.

A Photoshop Workshop with Jim Bryan will show how to navigate the popular photo editing software on Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. A ceramics session is Jan. 8 at 9 a.m. Silver smithing and wire wrapping meets on Jan. 8 at 1 p.m. A Los Padres Artist Guild meeting is Jan. 8 at 6 p.m.

A HAM Radio Operators group meets on Jan. 11 at 8:30 a.m. The Camera Club meets on Jan. 11 at 1 p.m. Car making meets on Jan. 12 at 9 a.m. Creative Arts Expressions meets on Jan. 12 at 1 p.m., and The Orcutt Mineral Society meets on Jan. 12 at 7 p.m.

A knitting class meets on Jan. 13 at 9:30 a.m. The ukulele class meets Jan. 13 at 11:30 a.m., followed by the Luis Oasis Ukulele Band’s regular rehearsal at 1 p.m.
