Registration is now open for the fourth annual Wine Country Bike Trek, set for June 14 through 16.
Home base will be at Midland School in Los Olivos; the ride is 30 to 50 miles of rolling hills and flat terrain. Participants can choose to race one, two, or all three days. Riders are encouraged to go at their own pace.
Ride director Donna Beal said in a press release that she expects 150 to 200 riders to attend this year’s event.
The ride will include complimentary continental breakfast each day, T-shirts, swag bags, live music, and dancing each night. Participants will also be served dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, compliments of Trattoria Grappolo.
Proceeds from the event will benefit People Helping People’s food programs, homelessness intervention, and afterschool youth programs in Buellton and Los Alamos.
