Body Image is the topic of the next set of sessions presented by the Police Activities League that are geared specifically toward teenage girls. Girls Circle is a free program aiming to provide girls with the opportunity to help each other by sharing experiences.

The circle will start April 10 and meet every Wednesday for eight weeks from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Abel Maldonado Community Youth Center.

The program is part of the One Circle Foundation and is a support group for teenage girls that focuses on such topics as relationships with friends and family, self-image, well-being, goal-setting, and self-expression. Each meeting is structured around topic-specific activities where girls are encouraged to relate to one another and express themselves.
