• In the March 12 story “Maneuvering change,” about the Olive Grove Charter School program, a lawyer’s middle name was incorrectly reported. The correct name is Paul Nicholas Boylen.

• In the March 12 story “Full steam below,” the nature of PCEC’s production was misstated. Wells that produce an average of 98 percent water and 2 percent oil are solely conventional, and don’t include cyclically steam wells. Cyclically steamed wells produce a higher percentage of oil, according to Jim Bray, company spokesperson. Orcutt Hill has produced 180 million—not billion—barrels’ worth of revenue since 1901.

• In the March 19 story, “Two people are arrested in connection with two unrelated deaths in Santa Maria,” Alejandro Ocampo Diaz identified his uncle, Alejandro Diaz, as the person who was shot. Police later reported the shooting victim’s full name as Alejandro Diaz Alvarez.
