The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department, which oversees Los Flores Ranch Park, has released the winter hours for the park now that Pacific Standard Time has returned. The park is open Thursdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with entry into the park ending at 4 p.m.
The last chance for a guided nature walk until February is Nov. 9. The “Outside in Nature Play Days” program will conclude the season with a presentation from Science Discovery on Nov. 16 at 8:30 a.m. at the park. Free transportation for this program is available, but reservations must be made.
