Zoo to You is bringing fur-laden friends, Radford Kustoms is sponsoring a car show, and the Santa Maria Sportsmenās Association is running the Huck Finn Fishinā Derby.
Admission is free, and free shuttle services from the Kmart parking lot will run every 15 minutes to the park and back.
āFamily Day in the Park is designed to bring families and community together for a day of free entertainment and education,ā said Brettly Biedinger, Santa Maria Valley YMCA event coordinator.
The festivities will take over Waller Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 18. For more information, call 937-8521 or visit smvymca.org.
