The DANA Cultural Center, home of the historic Dana Adobe, was awarded the Spokes Medal of Merit Award for 2015 in recognition of the board of directors and staff’s accomplishments and bold new goals set out for long-term growth. The Medal of Merit awards are presented annually at the Spokes Salutes celebration and thank-you event for local nonprofit leaders. This years’ event on Oct. 7 at the Dallidet Adobe and Gardens in the San Luis Obispo included recognition of the Dana Cultural Center and its leaders.
Spokes for Nonprofits provides local nonprofits with management training, consulting, and resources to better serve the community. The DANA Cultural Center encourages the community to build connections with history, nature, and within the community.
