The Allan Hancock College coaching staff wants to help young baseball players improve their skills this winter. So does former major league pitcher Bryn Smith. And Santa Maria Valley Packers Head Coach Scott Nickason. And Tom Beyers, the current minor league manager with the Chicago Cubs. Oh, and assorted current Hancock players, too.
They’re all participating in the annual Allan Hancock College Holiday Baseball Clinic, which gives ballplayers 6 to 18 years old a chance to spend some of winter break improving their game. The clinic is set for Dec. 20 to 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost is $100—$75 for each additional family member—and includes a T-shirt. Pick up registration forms at Play It Again Sports on South Broadway or the
