The Santa Maria Public Library is hosting a series of special holiday events for kids and teens, from crafting times to live performances. Most programs require tickets, which are free but must be picked up at the Youth Services Desk at the library.
A Holiday Song Fest includes live music by Craig Newton, who will share holiday songs from cultures spanning the globe, on Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. A Holiday Swap crafting event includes two sessions, one on Dec. 14 at 4 p.m. for crafting, and another on Dec. 16 at 4 p.m. for an exchange. Night Light Theater includes a screening of Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas on Dec. 22 at 6 p.m.
Teen events include Saturday Movie Madness with a screening of Pitch Perfect 2 on Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. How Crafty of You is a gift-making craft session on Dec. 21 from 3 to 5 p.m.
