Retrofitting businesses to become more energy efficient will be the topic of an upcoming joint meeting of the Business Development Committee and Hispanic Business Committee on July 20.

The Santa Barbara County Energy Watch Partnership will present information on programs offered by PG&E, So Cal Gas, and other companies to help businesses lower their energy costs.

The Energy Watch Partnership aims to reduce energy use through upgrades and
retrofitting of existing buildings.

The meeting will be held at the Santa Maria Fairpark’s Satellite Wagering Facility, located at 937 S. Thornburg, at 11:30 a.m. The cost to attend, including lunch, is $12. RSVP to barabara@santamaria.com or call 925-2403 by July 16.
