The annual Allan Hancock College football awards banquet saw six players named to the 2008 All-Northern National Conference team. First-team honors went to freshman Brennen Locker, sophomore Clayton Cullen, sophomore Dion Bryant, and sophomore Dorson Boyce. Freshmen Riley Gauld and Marquelo Suel were named second team all-conference at the Dec. 3 event at the Santa Maria Elks Lodge.

The most valuable player nod went to quarterback and sophomore Eric Anderwkavich, who also took the Bulldog Award, an honor head coach Kris Dutra bestows on the player he feels best represents the school and its athletic program. Dion Bryant was named offensive player of the year; Brennen Locker took defensive player of the year; Casey Beluz was recognized as top for special teams; Riley Gauld and Clayton Cullen shared honors for the offensive line; Eric Jones was recognized for the defensive line; Dorson Boyce and Marquelo Suel were top offensive backs; and Lamar Allen was No. 1 as a defensive back.
