The Town Center Gallery is featuring Central Coast artist Deborah L. Hildinger in its current show. Hildinger’s exhibit “Past and Present” showcases work in a variety of media dating from 1988 to the present.

An artists’ reception will be held on Friday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the gallery at 321 Town Center West in Santa Maria. The current exhibit will hang until June 9.

Hildinger is an award-winning artist in printmaking, painting, pastel, digital imagery, and craft.    After living in Central Florida for more than 20 years, Deborah moved to Santa Maria in the spring of 2004 and concentrated on the state’s landscape with colorful impressionistic acrylic paintings and digital imagery that focused on personal impressions of friends, family, and places.

Hildinger is currently a library technician in the children’s area of the Santa Maria Public Library. She’s also been an adjunct instructor at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria teaching lecture and studio classes beginning in 2005.
