Each time I pick up the Santa Maria Sun, I am delighted to see the ongoing versatility displayed by your Editorial Intern Henry Houston. The subject matter of his Community Corner is as varied as his Athlete of the Week.
It was interesting to read about lawn bowling several weeks ago. To my surprise, after just seeing West Side Story at PCPA, I opened up the Sun and there was a well-written review by none other than Henry Houston. I am no longer looking at an intern. Henry is becoming a seasoned writer with thoughts and ideas he is sharing with his community. Maybe he should be given a new title: specialist writer.
I really do think he has gone beyond the intern stage of his writing career.
