Detectives from the Santa Maria Police Department are investigating a triple shooting that occurred on Sept. 28. in the 1000 block of West Cypress Street.Ā 

According to SMPD Sgt. Jesus Valle, police were called to the area around 11:20 p.m. Monday, where they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds.Ā 

As of press time, police hadn’t released the names of the victims or their ages.Ā 

“The detectives are currently investigating and no further information can be released at this time,” Valle said.Ā 

According to Valle, one victim was flown via helicopter to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, while the other two men were treated at Marian Regional Medical Center.Ā
