The Clark Center Search for the Stars Competition is coming fast: Auditions will be held by appointment on Aug. 21 in the Studio Theatre of the Clark Center for the Performing Arts in Arroyo Grande.
Twenty-two acts will compete in the semifinals to be held at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18. The grand prize winner will receive $300 cash, 10 tickets to any 2010-11 Clark Center Association show, and the opportunity to perform as the opening act for a Clark Center Association show during the 2010-11 season. The second prize winner will receive $200 and tickets, and the third prize is $100 and tickets.
