The Nipomo Arts Commission and the Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos will be hosts to the third annual “Arts at the Adobe” on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Rancho Nipomo Dana Adobe. The free event will feature a juried art exhibition, refreshments, and art vendors, and “celebrate the beauty of the Central Coast.”
Visitors will be able to stroll the grounds, listen to music, and buy food, wine, and other beverages. They’ll also be able to vote for the “People’s Choice” award for art exhibit.
Prize ribbons will be awarded by category. There will be a $10 fee for one submission, with a $5 fee for each additional submission. Participating artists will need to bring their work to be juried on Aug. 25 to the Blacklake Community Room, 498 Colonial Place, Nipomo.
Following the Sept. 8 event, winning entries will be exhibited at additional public locations. Artists are also offered the opportunity to rent booth space to sell their artwork during the event.
Booth space is available for vendors for $35. The spaces are 10 feet square and assigned in the order applications are received.
